To our valued customers, guests and members,

Following the new rules and restrictions announced by the Government on 22nd September, we have put in place some new procedures for when you visit our beautiful hotel.

These procedures are in line with new Government law and must be adhered to when at the hotel.

Our new food hours are as follows;

Lunch – 12pm -1.30pm

Dinner – 5.30pm – 8.30pm

Sunday lunch – 12pm – 3.30pm

 

Last orders at our bar are 9.30pm. Our Bar, lounge and restaurant will need to be closed by 10pm.

Customers must remain seated whilst in our lounge and restaurant. We gently insist that you do not come to the bar area, we will operate a full table service for ordering, food and drink service and for paying your bill. This helps protect both customers and staff.

We understand that this is a very different experience than the one you may have come to expect here at Greenwoods but we are fully committed to preserving the health and safety of all of our guests, members and staff.

We have not made these changes lightly but we have had little choice as this is now the law. We do ask that you are patient and kind with the staff as they adapt and enforce these laws set by the government.

All of the team here at Greenwoods Hotel are taking every step to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees alike. We continue to remain vigilant and action stringent measures against the spread of COVID-19 as the health of all of our guests and colleagues remains, as always, our top priority.
After assessing each area throughout the Hotel please see below for the measures we have put in place for your safety and that of our employees.

GUEST ARRIVAL

• Guest’s temperatures checked upon arrival
• Social distancing promoted throughout the hotel with signage on display as a reminder
• High-touch areas throughout hotel sanitized on a regular basis
• Hand sanitisers located throughout the hotel
• Guests are encouraged to use contactless payment where ever possible
• Guest’s required to fill out a ‘COVID Declaration Form’ on arrival
• Plastic screens at reception to protect guests and staff

GUEST ROOMS

• Non-essential items have been removed
• All glassware and chinaware sterilised daily
• Electrostatic disinfectant sprayer used between each guest stay

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

• Restaurant and bar arranged to meet local guidelines on social distancing
• Face masks are available, along with hand sanitiser
• Regular sanitising of all shared surfaces
• All food and beverage colleagues wash their hands regularly
• Plastic screens at the bar to protect guests and staff

GYM AND SPA

• Gym arranged to meet local guidelines on social distancing
• Health and wellness protocols aligned with local authorities’ recommendations to include temperature checks, Personal Protective Equipment for therapists, health declaration forms and social distancing advised everywhere except the treatment rooms
• All public areas sanitised on a regular basis
• Hand sanitisers in use throughout hotel

MEETINGS AND CATERING

• All meeting and events arranged to meet local guidelines on social distancing
• Clients encourages to select pre-plated options or a served buffet (No self-service offerings at this time)
• All spaces thoroughly sanitised daily
• Hand sanitisers in use
• Social distancing promoted with signage at all events
• All third parties (external suppliers) must strictly follow hotel standards

OUR TEAM

• All visitors to the hotel, including colleagues and third parties, to have their temperature taken on a daily basis
• All members of staff to practice COVID-19 cleaning and sanitising protocols and observe social distancing both front and back of house
• All members of staff to wear masks in public areas

In our ongoing commitment to care for our guests and colleagues, we will continue to closely monitor the developing events and we wish for everyone to stay safe and healthy in the meantime.
